The final resting place of Lillian Snyder is at the southwest corner of Rose Hill Burial Park, at the west side of section 14. Hers is a horizontal marker near an upright family marker.

1889: The Spanish football team Recreativo de Huelva is formed (currently the oldest club in Spain).
1899: The First Hague Peace Conference is opened in The Hague by Willem de Beaufort, Minister of Foreign Affairs of The Netherlands.
1909: Robert Peary, Matthew Henson, and four Eskimo explorers come within a few miles of the North Pole.
1919: In Milan, Italy, Benito Mussolini founds his Fascist political movement.
1929: Former U.S. Interior Secretary Albert B. Fall is convicted of bribery for his role in the Teapot Dome scandal, becoming the first Presidential cabinet member to go to prison for actions in office.
1939: The Spanish Civil War comes to an end when the last of the Republican forces surrender.
1949: The first Emmy Awards are presented at the Hollywood Athletic Club.
1959: Lee Petty wins the first Daytona 500
1969: Tinker v. Des Moines Independent Community School District: The U.S. Supreme Court rules that the First Amendment applies to public schools.
