This granite monument is an obelisk with a three-tierred base standing about 10 feet high. The Inscription is on the front face and reads:
In Honor and Memory of the Sons and Daughters of McCormick County Who Served Our Country in Times of War and Peace.
The monument was erected in 1992. The obeilsk can be found on the opposite side of the lawn, across from the Confederate Memorial and a Blue Star Memorial Marker.
