The Town of Dudley commemorates the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II and honors the men and women from Dudley that served during World War II with a 18" high by 40" long bronze plaque placed near the entrance to the Dudley Municipal Complex.

The plaque is placed at about eye level on a brick wall. It contains a large image of the World War II honorable discharge emblem and it is inscribed:

WORLD WAR II - 1941 - 1945
{IMAGE OF HONORABLE DISCHARGE EMBLEM}

The placement of this plaque on this, the fiftieth anniversary of the end of World War II, honors
