The University of Evansville (formerly Evansville College and also formerly Moore's Hill College) was started in Evansville in 1919 with the campus being completed in 1922.
The campus is 70 acres and has around 2,500 students. It is located on the east side of Evansville and is bordered by Weinbach Ave., Lincoln Ave., Rotherwood Ave., and Walnut Ave.
