A mural painted on the silo that was once part of the L. H. Viets farm is in the middle of East Granby Farms Park on Route 187 in East Granby, CT.

When the Town of East Granby converted the Viets farmstead into a public park they left the landmark L. H. Viets silo intact. Not only has the concrete silo been preserved they commissioned a mural to be painted on the silo. The mural completely covers the silo from top to bottom. It depicts a bucolic scene evoking the old farm with a barn and farm animals at the bottom, the western hills in the background and the sky above. Left intact was the original lettering:

HORSES
The mural was painted on the concrete silo by local artist Mary DeCroce.
