"Double Column Ring Triangle is located in the southwest of ASU campus near of ASU Gammage Building. It is one of public art collection in ASU that includes seven teen works representing a variety of artists and pieces from multiple eras. Fletcher Benton the artist from San Francisco who likes to choose simple geometric shapes that intersect precariously on top of one another designed it. It made of one material that is an iron. One of the amazing things is an oddly shape that are four pieces of circular iron two of them like a ring and others are half circle. These pieces connect to each other in just one point and the sculpture is set also in one point. In addition, when the sun come above it, you will see a beautiful shadow. Moreover, this dramatic sculpture, completed in 1994, is a recent addition to the ASU Public Art Collection. Benton's work is housed in more than 80 public and corporate collections, including the Corcoran Gallery of Art and the Hirschhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, both in Washington, D.C.; and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Audrey and Sidney Irmas of Los Angeles donated the Double Column Ring Triangle."
