During a visit, the manager told me that this family-owned store is the retail arm of a pecan processing facility that started in 1952. At first, they only worked with in-shell pecans, but over time they expanded to include a processing and shelling plant and later expanded to gourmet candies. He told me that while they have an online catalog, they will work with anyone who wants something special.
The entrance to the retail store is located across Columbus Street from the Visitor Center for Old Alabama Town. They are also just a few blocks from Biscuit Stadium, the home of Montgomery's minor league baseball team.
