In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Hall Memorial Library the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Library erected this large armillary sphere sundial at the library entrance.

A 7' high steel armillary sphere rests on a 3' diameter by 2' high circular concrete base which sits in the middle of a 10' diameter by 3' high brick and stone wall.

The sundial has bronze Roman numerals along the bow and bronze signs of the zodiac on the equatorial section of the armillary sphere.

A bronze plaque on the circular base is inscribed:
