At 922-feet high Twin Peaks Park is high and centrally located in San Francisco. Great views can be found in all directions. A figure 8 shaped roadway travels around the park with each of the two peaks residing in the loops of the 8. At the crossover point is a painted median area where parking is available.

Near this crossover point is a dirt-gravel trail up the South Peak, which is fortified with 116 4x8 wooden steps. On a clear day from the North Peak, one can see the golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge and the expansive downtown area San Francisco.
