The Doggie Diner was a chain of hot dog stands in San Francisco that went out of business in 1986. After the stands closed, the dachshund heads were taken down and saved. This trailer holds three of the remaining heads and travels to special events.

Sloat Boulevard and at
Streetlights Record in San Jose are not the only remaining heads on display. These three emblematic Doggie Diner figureheads are generally kept at Treasure Island (near 9th and I street), halfway across the Bay. They sometimes go elsewhere for special events.
