Der Beobachtungsturm "Inselblick" bei Gstadt am Chiemsee bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf den Chiemsee und seinen Inseln. Da man von hier auch weite Teile des Uferbereichs überblicken kann, wird der Turm gerne von Vogelfotografen genutzt. Eine Informationstafel im Turm beschreibt die Vogelarten des Chiemsees. Beobachtet werden können unter anderem: Kormorane, Großmöven, Graugänse, Haubentaucher, Blaukehlchen, Rohrsänger, Rohrammer sowie Teichhuhn und Wasserralle.

The observation tower "Island View" in Gstadt offers a wonderful view of the lake Chiemsee and its islands. Since you can overlook also large parts of the lakeshore from here, the tower is often used by bird photographers. An information board in the tower describes the birds of Lake Chiemsee. Birds wich can be observed, among others: cormorants, gulls, gray geese, grebes, Bluethroat, warbler, reed bunting, Moorhen and Water Rail.
