Mabel O. Young, 100, died Feb. 25, 1992, in Klamath Falls. Services were held Thursday in Klamath Falls.

Mrs. Young was born May 6, 1891, in West Plains, Mo., to George Rehm and Elmira Vada Husket Reed Rehm. She came west with her family and settled in Harrington, Wash., where she later met and married Andrew J. Young. The family lived in Deer Park, Wash., until moving to Klamath County where they lived at Ellingson's Mill on the Klamath River. In 1941 they moved to Klamath Falls.

Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Mildred McCann, Yreka, Calif., Zelda Young, Coos Bay, Juanita and Ned Putnam, Klamath Falls, Eileen Brown, Klamath Falls; sons and daughter-in-law, James L. Young, Klamath Falls, Rex and Barbara Young, Klamath Falls; sister, Beatrice Long, Spokane, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Young and son, Veryl Young.
