Sct. Laurentti Brønd / The Well of St. Lawrence
Sct. Laurentius.

The Well of St. Lawrence was created by artist J. P. Hjersing. In 1937 it was placed on the location where the cemetery for the poor people of the city used to be, along with the adjoining small Catholic church. The church was dedicated to the patron saint of the poor, St. Lawrence.

Randers Byvåben - Coat of Arms of Randers
Petri kirke. Ingen af disse kirker findes idag.

The earliest known Coat of Arms of Randers dated back to 1524. It shows a wall with a gate tower with portcullis, which leads a bridge over some water. In or behind the wall is depicted two towers. There are several interpretations of the old coat of arms, such as eg. citywall with two towers and a gate tower - that is the city's fortress or Randers castle with a moat and finally as a city wall with church towers showing behind it. Some sources believe to know that the towers are respectively. Gråbrådre, Sct. Clemens and Sct. Petri church. None of these churches exist today.
