"Com o Anfiteatro ao Ar-Livre, o Parque da Devesa oferece um espaço naturalizado simbólico de encontro e apropriação social, um novo fórum para manifestações comunitárias e de cidadania, um “palco público” para novas, espontâneas e experimentais manifestações culturais e um grande espaço de espetáculos para produções artísticas.
O Anfiteatro enquadra-se no relevo e declive existentes, não o alterando mas procurando a sua progressiva naturalização na paisagem. Pode colher cerca de 1.000 pessoas sentadas e para alguns eventos, poderá estender-se para alguns milhares de pé.
O palco, com “concha acústica”, tem anexo uma estrutura de apoio, para possibilitar o acolhimento de produções artísticas."

"With the Amphitheatre, the Devesa Park offers a symbolic naturalized space for meeting and social appropriation, a new forum for community and civic events a "public stage" for new, spontaneous and experimental cultural space and a large spectacles for artistic productions.
The amphitheater is part of the existing topography and slope, but not changing its progressive naturalization looking landscape. Can harvest about 1,000 people sitting and some events may extend to several thousand feet.
The stage, with "acoustic shell" has attached a support structure to enable the reception of artistic productions."
