A pink Texas granite monument with a bronze sculpture of Texas electric industry giant John W. Carpenter welcomes those who come into downtown Dallas from US 75 at Pearl Street.

This small plaza has a few benches and greenery hard up under a noisy freeway on the eastern edge of downtown now, but plans are in the works to turn this little urban corner into a 3-acre park with real amenities. Stay tuned! We will update this waymark when changes are made ;)
