"The Vision" captures the moment when a young boy sees the future promise of what is before him. He is pointing into the future on the bank of a rover or creek. His pet dog rests his head on the boy's leg while the boy shares his vision with Man's Best Friend. Maybe the boy is an Oregon Trail pioneer, maybe he is an 1850s Missouri River farm boy, we don't know.
The statue is placed in the plaza on front of Kansas City Missouri's 150-year old City Market in the Warehouse District downtown.
