This 1977 abstract steel sculpture by Duane Loppnow is listed on the Smithsonian Inventory (visit link) which decribes it thusly:

"Abstract representation of a sailing ship under the control of the mythical god of the winds, Aeolus, set within reflecting pool with water jets."

The poster of this Waymark appreciates that deascription since the symbolism passed right over him.
