From the NRHP: "The Hackett House, a one and one-half story frame Queen Anne/Eastlake cottage built in 1889, is situated on its original site on First Street in the City of Napa. It rests on the original cut stone foundation and displays its striking Queen Anne and Eastlake ornamentation on the unaltered main facade to the street. The exterior and interior architectural features of the Hackett House were rehabilitated in 1979; expansion of the kitchen to include the original back porch (south-east corner) does not detract from the architectural integrity of the residence which remains essentially intact. The Hackett House is a strong contributor to an exemplary residential streets cape with distinctive examples of late 19th and early 20th century architectural style." (visit link)
