Long Description:

Water pours from a pitcher flowing on the side of a red brick building. There is a ship on the river of water, there is an archway and finally the river disappears through a keyhole.

"A 40-foot ceramic mural now decorates the once barren west- facing wall of the campuses telephone and server building (photo below). The mural, designed and created by Art Professor Linda Gelfman and her students, is the result of work over two semesters. After the site was chosen, Linda brainstormed design ideas with her students and then worked out the final design. The mural represents the River of Knowledge, with a ship taking people on a journey of discovery. Along the way are symbols of learning and college life."
