Country Castle Playground - Knob Hill Community Park - Wexford, Pennsylvania



This playground opened in 1994 and was given it chosen name. This playground was one of the first in the Metro Pittsburgh Area to been made out of the Trex Material. Country Castle was designed by Leathers & Associated out of New York and cost about $70,000 to build, with the money coming from fundraising efforts of a committee designated by the township of Marshall. It should be also noteworthy that the playground was constructed by mostly resident volunteers of the community.
