This great old building was once the Royal Bank built in 1910. The date still remains on the building. City Hall also occupied this building.

The building underwent renovations in the 1970's and the ceiling was lowered, but the old vault still remains at the back on the main floor.

The buildings of this era were constructed of brick. This was a necessity brought about by the fires of 1908 and 1911.

The old Royal Bank building is now home of The Borscht Bowl.
