This monument consists of a Spirit of the American Doughboy sculpture standing atop a concrete base with a bronze plaque on each of the four sides of the base. One plaque is the dedication; the other three contain the names of 268 veterans of the war with 12 of the names preceded by stars indicating that they had been killed in action.
