Dieses Wasserrad befindet sich in Wanghausen, direkt an der Salzach und steht symbolisch für den Niedergang traditioneller Mühlen durch die aufkommende Elektrizität. Das so genannte "Acher Mühlenviertel" war über Jahrhunderte als Mühlengebiet bekannt. In dieser Region gab es um 1950 sechs Mühlen.

This waterwheel is located in Wanghausen, directly on the river Salzach and is symbolic of the decline of traditional mills by the emerging electricity. The so-called "Acher mill district" was known for centuries as a mill area. In this region, there were six mills about 1950.
