This is a linden dedicated to Prinzregent Luitpold von Bayern (Prince Regent Luitpold of Bayern) located at the so-called 'Ludwigstor' in Germersheim, Germany, Rheinland-Pfalz.

The original tree has been planted at the 12th March 1891 for the 70th birthday of Luitpold. The tree was cut down in 2007.
A new tree has been planted at the 12th March 2008.

There's a plaque with details.
