It's located at the south end of the building, right beside the parking lot. This skate park is just a small part of what the rec plex has to offer. In the complex are swimming and wading pools, a hockey arena, weight and fitness rooms, a whirlpool, convention and meeting rooms, a seniors' centre, the skate park, a playground, tennis courts, and a soccer field.
Snow's almost gone, meaning the skateboarders will be out crashing and banging very soon. This is a cool looking park with lots of doo dads and gee gaws. Not being a boarder myself, I would guess that there are dozens of ways an inventive kid could work out for breaking a few bones here. Lots of ups and downs, rails and ramps and plenty of nice soft concrete to land on with a splat!!! As well, there's a big bowl that looks like it would be great for loosening teeth and flattening noses!!!
Bicycles are not specifically proscribed on the sign, so I have to assume that they are allowed. Good for a few more broken faces, no doubt.
