The Lindsley Avenue Church of Christ was built in 1894. The church was designed by architect Robert Sharp in a Victorian Late Gothic Revival style. When the church was built the south Nashville area was more residential, now it is more commercial and industrial. The church continues as an active church with service each week.

The Lindsley Avenue Church of Christ was added to the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Nineteenth Century Churches of South Nashville Thematic Resources.
