The Jump Up Casino is located at the east end of the business/tourist district of Philipsburg. The casino opened in 2001 and is themed after the annual Sint Maarten Carnival. In St. Maarten the beginning of the carnival season is called "Jump Up", hence the name.
The interior (no photography allowed) has displays of carnival costumes and plays carnival music. The casino opens daily at 10 am and closes at 4 am. The Jump Up Casino features over 160 slot machines, video poker, bingo games, complimentary drinks for players, and live entertainment on weekends.
