This bright yellow Union Pacific caboose built in 1964 serves as a visitor information center. It sits in Iron Horse Park near the 20th Century Veterans' Memorial and Iron Horse Lake. During business hours, you can walk inside the caboose and find information about the area.

The caboose is one of 100 class CA-8 cabooses built by International Car Co., of Kenton, Ohio. The CA-8 class was the first class to be delivered with roller bearing trucks and had a longer wheelbase than previous classes with truck centers of 23 feet, 2.5 inches, without any change in the actual body length.

UP 25543 was built in Sep 1964 and retired the 15th of Dec 1986.
