Set in 1978 by U.S. Geological Survey, marked 4JNT, elev. 5098. This benchmark is located along Rd. 2270, 0.95 miles west of junction with Rd 2510. The benchmark is a cap on an iron rod inside a blue plastic pipe about 40 feet north of road. Pile of rocks near cap.
