Salmo is home to many stone murals celebrating the history and natural beauty of the area.

These two magnificent rams are a fine example of the wildlife in the Salmo area.

The larger of the two rams is proudly displaying his large curved horns, for all to admire. The mountain sheep live high on the mountain ridges and rarely come down to the valleys below.

For quite some time they migrated to less populated areas and are now being reintroduced in parts of British Columbia.
