Barks and Recreation is primarily a pet supply store that specializes in quality dog and cat food.
Cameron Dixon, the owner, also offers a large selection of pet toys, bedding, scratching posts, and etc.
The Recreation part is a Doggie Day care.
When we visited Barks and Recreation, Cameron had at least five dogs visiting for the day. We enjoyed petting and watching the dogs at play.
Other services also include dog training, pet photography and custom paintings, by local artists.
Green Paw Groomer, privately owned and operated, is located downstairs at the same location.
