A restful place in downtown Frederick. Several benches nearby (or just sit on the rim). The fountain was thought to be constructed around 1890. It is a painted iron sculpture with a concrete basin - featuring two cherubs on top with dragon gargoyles around the base.

The active fountain was winterized during this visit. It is set up as a ring of jets flowing towards the central sculpture. It would likely be seen running continuously during warmer months of May thru October.
