Official Description: ABOUT 0.4 MILE NORTH ALONG U.S. HIGHWAYS 23 AND 58 TO THE STATION SET AT THE JUNCTION OF 6TH AVENUE AND EAST 5TH STREET, 40.0 FEET WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF 6TH AVENUE AND EAST 5TH STREET, 36.3 FEET SOUTH OF TELEPHONE POLE NUMBER 260. 4.4 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE SOUTH CORNER OF A BLOCK RETAINING WALL, 3.2 FEET EAST OF THE EAST EDGE OF THE RETAINING WALL, SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST FLUSH WITH THE GROUND AND IS ABOUT LEVEL WITH THE HIGHWAY.

Found as decribed. Highway US23/VA58 runs right along the location, near intersection with 6th Avenue, concrete block retaining wall still there. Only difference is the highway is now raised a few inches by repaving over the years. Maybe covered in soft dirt. An orange plastic survey post is nearby.
