This commemorative plaza and sculpture occupies the corner of the block on the southeast corner of the intersection of E 2nd St. N and St. Francis N. Most of the rest of the block is a free parking lot across the street from the Coleman Outlet.

The Time Tower here is not a clock. There are no hands and no face. It does chime every 15 minutes, though. The various plaques in the Plaza explain the history of the Rotary Club in Wichita. The text of each plaque is with each photo in the gallery, so please click on the gallery link to see that.

In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Rotary Club of Wichita, this Rotary Time Tower Sculpture and Centennial Plaza is dedicated to the people of Wichita who place serving others above their own self-interests.
The Rotary Time Tower sculpture, designed by Wichita artist Todd Whipple, pays tribute to the continuing advancement of our fine community by tolling the quarter-hour from dawn to dusk.
These improvements were made possible by a unique partnership between the Wichita Rotary Charitable Fund and Sedgwick County.
