Nothosaurus lived his life like a seal, as he found food in the water and rested on the land. This activity made him a semi-oceanic reptile.

This reptile's body made him an excellent swimmer, as well as a good hunter. His steamlined body and webbed hands and feet worked well to allow him to sneak up on his prey using short bursts of speed.
