This street intersection is located in a nice little single-family neighborhood that was developed in the early 1970s-80s in the north central part of Garland.
When Blasterz moved to Garland in the mid-1990s, we lived at the Shiloh Oaks apartments just a little ways down Apollo Road from Star Trek Ln.
As I researched the waymark, I found this little bit of trivia from www.wikipedia.com: "Garland has a street called Star Trek Lane, the first official place name of the Star Trek television series created by Gene Roddenberry (who was born in El Paso, Texas)."
