You gotta wonder about the creepy dark sense of humor that compelled someone to make a Black Widow out of a cute VW Beetle -- especially given that BWs prey on cute bugs and beetles (and anything else that has the bad luck to get snared in their webs) in a horrific way: by injecting them with venom that dissolves the victim from the inside out!
