This station serves commuter trains connecting with Philadelphia to the east. While it is reputed to be designed by Frank Furness, his biographers have not claimed this station among the many they do list. See the book "Frank Furness - Architecture and the Violent Mind" by Michael J. Lewis. Another source is "Frank Furness - The Complete Works" by Thomas, Cohen and Lewis. What may have lead to confusion is the fact that Furness did design his brother's house, "Lindenshade", located nearby in what is today Furness Park. Sadly, the house was demolished in 1940.
