The mail box utilises material commonly found on farms with the body being a 44 gallon drum & the tail left over chain. The dairy cow mail box faces north so the farmer has kindly provided sun glasses to protect its eyes against ultra-violet radiation. It also meets all legal requirements in that it has identification tags in each ear.
The farm runs Australian Illawarra Shorthorn which are a similar colour & shape to the mailbox.
