When we visited The Province Lands Visitor Center on Race Point Road, off Route 6, at the northern end of Cape Cod National Seashore, approximately one mile from Provincetown, we wanted to experience the observation deck and headed toward the door..... but were unsure how to get to the deck since the sign on the door clearly says it is an automatic door, but it was not opening automatically. Did this mean the door was locked and we could not use the observation deck?
NO! Upon further reading, we noticed a second sign: PUSH TO OPERATE the automatic door!
