Just a short way off the Lake Country Recreation Trail, visitors can find the Cushing Memorial Park - dedicated to a family of US Civil War veterans.
This peace garden is the anchor to the City of Delafield's Veterans Memorial Riverwalk Trail.
The Peace Garden monument is simply a granite rock with inscription listed below and surrounded by memorial bricks.
