This flagpole honoring Harry Von Tungeln (1915 - 2000) is located on the west side of the church, near a fountain and sundial and sign for the church.
Harry was known by the nickname Big Battle-O, while his younger brother Elmer was known as Little Battle-O at El Reno High School.

*Harry's final resting place is at El Reno Cemetery, directly across from the office front door.
