FIRST TIME EVER finding an ENTIRE benchmark series! I located this series after looking on a topography map and seeing it listed as MAY.

I found the Station Mark, both reference marks and the Azimuth Mark (.8 miles south of the station mark). Reference Mark 2 is actually another nearby benchmark that pulls double duty as a benchmark and reference mark for the MAY series.

The Azimuth Mark was also found in poor condition and looks as though someone has tried to pry it out of the boulder its set in. It is all bent up on one side.

*FYI* There is soon to be road construction along Bly Mountain Pass and I hope these series of benchmarks along the roadway stay intact through the construction phase since so many of them get destroyed when roads are widened, such as 140 is about to be.
