In Needham, at the intersection of Highland Avenue and Rosemary Street is Christ Church in Needham, an Episcopal Church that has been holding services in town since 1894.

The church is a rambling complex. There are sanctuaries at either end. The left one has a clean wall of stone/plaster, while the right one has a thick covering of ivy on the walls. The main sanctuary is on the left (when facing the church from Highland Avenue). Between the sactuaries is a low structure.

While services were held in Needham several years before the church was founded, the first organized church service was on October 28, 1894, and the web site claims that a service wasn't missed since that date. August 19, 1895 is the date when the church voted to form a parish and adopted the name, Christ Church, after Christ Church at Oxford University in England. For a while, the church met in the Needham Heights section of the town until the congregation split over location. The more 'southern' congregation purchased the present lot and laid the cornerstone on June 28, 1913. The building unified the two congregations again. The church continued to grow and the building was added to over the years. In 1929, the church was made an independent parish from a mission.

The church is active today in several ways. Ministry response services provide support to the clergy or provide lay services. They are a participant in local programs such as food serving, collecting and distributing clothes, and purchase and wrap gifts at Christmas.

Holy Eucharist services are at 10:00 am on Sundays.
