The 11 MPH speed limit at Medical City Hospital Campus in Dallas TX is supposed to regulate . . . walking in excess of 11MPH?

We have no idea why 11MPH was chosen as the upper limit. Not even the Transportation Director for the City of Garland could explain it.

So don't do anything in excess of 11MPH at Medical City.

(I hope there is an affirmative defense for sneezes. The Mythbusters clocked a sneeze at 39MPH, THREE TIMES the legal speed limit at Medical City. You have been warned.)
