This neat little park is a great place to launch a hike up Badger Mountain. And just so you can get your bearings, the park planners provided 3 different "You are Here" maps for you!

These three maps use different perspectives and scale, and are included on a nice large panaled display that provides history of the area, how the local natives used the area, artifacts they left behind, and how the Missoula Ice Age sculpted the area and left evidence behind for you to learn about and explore. There is also a panal on birds, flora and fauna of the area.
But before you head off on your hike to chase birds or search for traces of the ice age, please be sure you take a good look at these maps so you know where you are!
