This simple bronze plaque, which is a memorial to General John J. Pershing, is located within the Place des Etats-Unis. This park has a number of monuments and statues of historical figures. The plaque is attached to a slab of concrete, propped up at an angle. it is near the playground on the west end of the park. The plaque reads:
