For 75 years the aroma of quality baked goods has wafted from the Logonier Quality Bakery. It si one of only two small retail bakeries left in the area. Most fresh baked goods come from bakeries in grocery stores or chain stores.
The bakery has been in the Creps family since 1926 when Earl and Lula Creps started it. Earl died in 1956 and Bob and Virginia Creps took over in 1958. Their son, Jim joined them in the business in the early 1970's. The bakery is popular all around the area. People in the lakes area come to buy baked goods as well as tourists have found their way to the bakery. Factory workers stop to take donuts to fellow employees. Their baked goods are also popular at business meetings. Jim's daughter, Heather and her husband are now associated with the bakery making it a fourth generation business as well as one of the oldest existing businesses in town.
