USGS 1086 - Roanoke, VA - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

Recovered in poor condition. Stamping is mostly illegible due to railbed rock and weather damage over the years. Disk was underneath 4-6" of railbed rock. Very steep approach from above - cleaned disk surface with a long stick and pictures were at arm's length due to danger of sliding on rocks down into ravine below.
