"Dieser vermutlich älteste Grenzstein des Tharandter Waldes wurde 1549 angefertigt und stand wahrscheinlich an der Waldgrenze der um diese Zeit entstandenen Zeidlergemeinde Hartha, die hier an die Gemeinde Hintergersdorf grenzte.

1926 wurde die Gemeinde Hartha mit Spechtshausen nach Hintergersdorf eingemeindet und der Ort Hartha-Hintergersdorf 1933 in Kurort Hartha umbenannt."

This is probably the oldest landmark of Tharandt forest and was made in 1549. It was probably located at the tree line of the new municipality Hartha that bordered here on the municipality of Hintergersdorf.
